New Hat in Time update address a lot of issues on Switch

Classic ‘performance and stability improvements’ A Hat in Timeis still getting updates and DLC nearly three years after its initial release. That’s not bad for an indie studio! Among various “performance and stability improvements,” there’s also a few bug fixes (an errant ladder, glitchy trains inthe cat metro DLC), synced music for online parties (a mode that was added in the last add-on), and a crash fix for modders....

Papers, Please creator interested in PS Vita version

Papers, Pleasedesigner Lucas Pope toldVG247he’s interested in getting the game on PlayStation Vita, a platform the title would feel right at home on. Whether that’s a job he’d handle or delegate to a third party, however, is undecided. Preview: Battlefield 3?s Close Quarters DLC

I’ve played about 20 minutes ofBattlefield 3. I was with some friends and they handed me the controller during a multiplayer match. We were playing on a TV from the early 90’s that would occasionally, randomly, flip the display upside down, requiring someone to hit the thing to right the picture. It was rather brown, I shot a guy or two, got shot a bit more, gotblinded by a flashlight as bright as the sun, and spawned in a jet piloted by a teammate that would awkwardly crash into the ground seconds later....

The reason for the lack of remakes, apparently, is due to ancient Sierra’s stance that remakes didn’t make money. “Only once — when Sierra had us remake the original [Hero’s Quest],” Corey Cole told me via e-mail when asked if Sierra ever approached him....

The next Nintendo Switch game trial is Cadence of Hyrule, and you should definitely play it

Cadence of Hyrulewas one of those “instantly out” E3 games of old, and in 2019, it was a stunner. Torture scene no longer in Splinter Cell: Blacklist

‘I’ve not really heard anyone say they loved it…’ Prior to the recentround of hands-on previews, it would be fair to say thatSplinter Cell: Blacklisthad been suffering from amessaging problemwith respect to its perceived focus on action at the expense of stealth and a certain infamous torture scene.
