Intellivision has announced that the Intellivision Amico will host a newEarthworm Jimdeveloped by the team behind the original series. The Amico, whichwas officiallyunveiled last year, will be a micro-console similar to something like the NES Classic, just from a resurrected Intellivision. The team will consist of 10 of the artists, programmers, and designers from the original games as well as composer Tommy Tallarico....

PlayStation 4 takes us back to Vekta Killzone: Shadow Fallhas been announced! Guerrilla Games advances the story to a Berlin-inspired setting, separating two rival factions on Planet Vekta by a gigantic wall. A very gorgeous trailer set up the PS4 exclusive shooter. The return to Vekta calls for blue skies, lovely waters, and lots of color. Footage gives us a look at the verdant planet before a city area explodes. As chaos is sewn, cloaked Helghan assassins make their appearance....

What a lovely handheld The 3DS has gone through a tremendous change since its launch. While Nintendo did its best to completely fumble its initial year with a weak launch lineup, paltry Virtual Console offerings, and hardly any third-party support, it gained quite a bit of strength over time. Now there are hundreds of classics on the portable to choose from, including digital titles on the eShop, which is an immense upgrade from the horrid DSiWare storefront....

My all time favorite game, in the history of the world, beyond all shadow of doubt, isGladius. This genius of a game sold like crap, and is, in my opinion, the most underappreciated of LucasArts games. I mention this because I adore strategy role-playing games, and if they aren’t positively drowning in anime stylings — well, I’d be pretty damn happy. So although I didn’t get to spend much time with Konami upcoming downloadable strategy RPG,Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment, I do have to say the prospect of a solid, 3D strategy role-playing game is pretty cool....

Rockstar Games announced on Monday that it has acquired the AustralianL.A. Noireremaster studio Video Games Deluxe. This developer has also worked onL.A. Noire: The VR Filesand the update to theGrand Theft Auto: The Trilogyremaster. “After working together closely over many years, we are excited to have Video Games Deluxe join the team as Rockstar Australia,” said Rockstar Games Head of Publishing Jennifer Kolbe in a press release. While Video Games Deluxe officially began in 2013, Rockstar’s history with the studio’s founder Brendan McNamara goes back further than that....
