A few days ago, Sony announceda bunch of gamesfor the PlayStation Portable. One of those is thelong-rumoredPSP version of Media Molecule’sLittleBigPlanet. Marketing manager Mark Valledor tossed a few fact morsels to the masses via theofficial PlayStation blogyesterday afternoon. The juiciest tidbit is that Media Molecule isn’t handling the portable property; Sony’s Cambridge studio has the job. Even though the property is under alien guidance, Sony’s Cambridge wing won’t try to reinvent the wheel....

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pockethas launched a new booster set, Mythical Island, alongside its first major update. Mythical Island adds more than 80 cards that players could grab. More Step-Up Battles are also included as part of the update, along with some all-new missions and rewards. The new update is available immediately, and it is a permanent one, unlike the Genetic Apex Wonder Pick Event, which will only continue running for the next couple of days....

In the future, not every system update will require a restart PS4 users who signed up for the 7.00 beta have discovered a few new niceties ahead of the software’s wide release. Along with the ability to tune your HDR settings on a system-wide basis, there’s also an increase to the Party session cap from eight to sixteen people and the promise of smoother updates. The Party upgrade is pretty self-explanatory – you’ll be able to assemble an even larger group of friends for voice chat on PS4 – but those other two 7....

Yesterday, as Jim Sterling aptly put it, wasthe day the Zune stood still. Every 30 GB Zune owner with a clock reading the correct time and a recent firmware update experienced a weird glitch that kept their Zune frozen on the loading screen. It’s fixed. Everyone can once again “Join the Social” and enjoy their tunes. A leap-year issue caused the crash, but as many have already found out, the internal clock switching to 2009 magically fixed the problem....
