Civilians have to wander around the map doing their best to complete tasks while blending in and attempting to look like NPCs. The hunters, on the other hand, have limited shots to try and eliminate who they think the real player civilians are based on actions and movements.
It creates some pretty comically tense moments seeing players try to blend in with civilians, especially as players start to truly grasp how they are intended to play Dingus. When the game starts, there are many NPCs and players walking around. But as the hunter takes out those they think are civilians, it becomes pretty comical seeing how players try to blend in and give off the vibe that they are just an NPC.
