The Emotional Overdrive event ends things off with a bang, asModern Warfare 3andWarzoneSeason 5 come to a close. Here’s everything you need to know about the emoji-filled celebration, including how to complete challenges and earn rewards.
MW3 and Warzone Emotional Overdrive event guide
While the Emotional Overdriveeventis active, you’ll collect rewards by farming a bunch of XP. Any mode will do, includingWarzone,MW3Multiplayer, orZombies. Plus, if you have some tokens on you, now is the perfect to use them, as it will help you get closer to the final reward tier.
The emoji-based Operator skins provide an additional 2,500 XP bonuses per match for even more boosts. Equip the Cursed, Dead Inside and Out, Tongue Out, Guns Out, or Seeing Stars skins to acquire these enhancements. The bundle costs 3,000 COD Points, providing all four Operators. You’ll also obtain weapon blueprints, aZombiesAether Tool, and cosmetics.

The final tier earns you the Feelings, Unabridged Mastery camo. Since the rewards center around the Emoting Tracer Pack, the design covers your entire build with wild emojis. Unlike most Completionist camos, it doesn’t have an animated feature, meaning the artwork will remain motionless.
Due to the event’s short duration, you will only have a little time on your hands. Complete it by Sept. 18, 2024, to collect all Emotional Overdrive rewards before they’re gone. Once it’s over, we’ll move on to the next season withthe Haunting event. Don’t forget to also obtain XP for the ongoingBlack Ops 6: Woods Operator Pack Challenge. It’ll unlock when youpre-orderBO6, offering Classic, Zombie, and Number Woods Operator Skins.
