I’ve got to try these

If you regularly read this fine website, you’ll know that I love anything audio or music related, and I’m especially taken with the area where games and sound collide. So Feenix’s new headset definitely caught my eye with its claims of being studio grade.

Feenix call themselves a premiere boutique peripheral firm, and they’re out to redefine gaming headsets: “For years gamers have been misled as to what they should be looking for in a gaming headset. Their choices have had nothing but poor sound quality, gimmicky features, and unnaturally over pronounced bass;” saidFeenixcreative director, Ashkon Shayani. “The Aria focuses on providing high grade audio and reproducing sounds perfectly in studio monitor fashion. The result is the ability to hear sounds you never knew existed.”

They came up with the Aria, a headset that they claim meets audiophile sound quality. Each of the 50mm full-range drivers are individually checked, and each of the acoustic chambers is made entirely of Japanese pine wood. Top these off with protein leather filled with memory foam.

Even the mic sounds nice with its unidirectional recording. Instead of a boom, this one clips on.
