It features some of the returning magical girls from the original, but mainly focuses on a new cast. This three-season series with 25 episodes in total expects fans to know many of the terms, twists, and ideas from the original. As such, it is better to watch this spin-off at this point.
Walpurgisnacht: Rising
Finally for now, there is a fourth movie coming out calledWalpurgisnacht: Rising. This is a direct sequel toRebellionand continues the story of the original set of magical girls. Not much else is known about this movie, as it is still unreleased at the time of writing. That said, fans should watch this after the previous movies and series to best prepare for its story.
