Those that know me know that I really digvideogame musicand theirremixes, especially when they come from older games. Destructoid readerMabecknows what’s up. He sends word that newBionic Commando: Rearmedmusic has beenposted.
Now that so many classic games likeBionic Commandoare being reresurrected, there’s plenty of opportunity to re-craft their great old tunes into something fresh and new. Ever since I heard the original theme morph into the new “Rearmed” theme in a trailerearlier this year, I’ve been looking forward to hearing more of this game’s score. Capcom producer Ben Judd points us to two new pieces of music forRearmed:the map music and the level 12 music. Not these and more are awaiting your ears in theBionic Music Player.
I really like the gritty breakbeat and synth sound of these songs — it’s exactly how I envisioned they’d be done. These are nice, but they only tease. I want to hear more!
