Spells are an important aspect ofOblivion Remastered, but deleting them after you’ve created custom choices isn’t exactly straightforward.
The game lets you enjoy the utmost freedom when it comes to creating custom spells. Some of them can be fairly creative. But you should be careful when creating new ones, since it’s not an easy task to delete them after their creation. At any rate, I’ll show you how to delete spells below.

How to delete spells in Oblivion Remastered
Once you’vecreated a custom spell, it will remain throughout your save. There’s no known way for you to delete spells without using console commands. This is the only workaround available I’ve found so far if you need to delete your created spells.
Here’s how you can use the console commands available inOblivion Remasteredto erase the spells you’ve created.
Sadly, there’s no easy way to delete spells insideOblivion Remastered. It’s unclear whether Bethesda will add a function to smooth out the process (at this point, I don’t think it will happen).
Can you delete spells on consoles?
WhileOblivion Remasteredworks well on consoles, you’re able to’t delete spells. The method listed above is only available on PC, as you can’t access the directory or create a duplicate text file on the consoles. If you’re playing on console, think carefully before creating a spell.
