Also,Resident Evil Villagehit a new milestone

Today,Capcom dumped its financial earnings report on usfor the fiscal year ending August 02, 2025. It wasn’t as much of a deep diveas Nintendo’s recent report, but there’s a few interesting software tidbits to glean.

Here are the takeaways from the 2022 Capcom financial report:

Using this new data,Resident Evil Villageis tied withStreet Fighter Vfor the 9th spot overallin Capcom’s all-time seller list. At this point it just needs to push a little further to surpassStreet Fighter IIat 6.3 million units.Monster Hunteris also still very much secure as a staple IP for Capcom, and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. And of course, the same goes forResident Evil, which holds a staggeringfive spots in the overall top 10 now.

This report shows us a decent runway of what we can expect of Capcom in the next five years or so. And whyResident Evil VillageDLC(we’re waaaaaiting!) is a no-brainer.
