The fabled “cockney voice” ofSaints Row 2became a bit of a cult hit among fans of the series, and it’s hardly surprising — seeing a gruff Londoner act like an American gangsta is pretty hilarious, and he had all of the best taunts.
Volition told me at E3 that they weren’t sure they’d be having the voice back and they didn’t sound hopeful. Imagine my surprise when I check out theSaints Row: The Third Initiation Stationand find him in the voice options! With a set of all-new lines, the “cockney” is back!
This is fantastic news. Whenever I’ve playedSaints Row 2, I’ve exclusively used the cockney voice and I was bummed at the idea of it not coming back. My anticipation for this game just reached danger levels!
