Not gonna lie here — thePredatorseries is a personal favorite of mine. The original is obviously a classic; the second one is blissfully dumb, and also has that crazy asshole Gary Busey; the twoAvPfilms are hot garbage, but the second one is at least fun; and man, why doesPredatorsget so much hate?
I don’t care. Like what you like, y’all. And while you’re at it, win this Blu-ray copy of the newest in the series,The Predator.
Everyone’s favorite Rastafarian alien is back for another installment, this time from acclaimed action/comedy director Shane Black. As they’re wont to do, a child somehow gets his hands upon an artifact which summons the Predator race to Earth to commence yet another hunt. From there, a shockingly talented cast must come together to stop the Predators from killing everyone with their shoulder cannons and retractable spears. Oh and then a huge Predator hybrid thing comes along, and that’s probably bad news for everyone involved, yeah? Like, a normal Predator is bad enough, but then a bigger, meaner one shows up?
Sometimes it just seems unfair. They hunt humans because we’re allegedly worthy opponents. Sure, we always manage to outsmart them at the end, but not before losing 7/8 of the principal cast and getting the survivor all FUBAR’d in the process. Like, they’re clearly better hunters and killers than us, so why not pick on the Klingons from time to time or something? They’re way stronger.
