Pushes Steam’s running total to 80 Linux titles
Following last month’s beta release ofCounter-Strike: Condition Zerofor Steam on Linux, the game has officially launched —for real. Not the most thrilling news of the day, I’ll agree to that, however the brief announcement also mentions that there’s plenty more whereCondition Zerocame from: “More Valve titles are heading to Linux in the coming weeks and months.”
Slowly but surely, a tipping point will be reached where enough worthwhile games are available for Linux via Steam that switching over — whether it be forValve’s living-room PCsor any other reason — won’t seem like a big deal. That is the hope, anyway.
