Just the mention D3 Publisher instantly conjures memories of cloying, budget-priced games with B-movie sensibilities all too proud to bear the mantra of “so bad it’s good.”  So afterOnechanbara, Eat Lead: The Return of Matt HazardandEarth Defense Force, what’s next for the publisher of cheesy goodness? A charming platformer from a Swedish indie studio comprised of industry vets, if you believe it or not.

Formed back in 2010 by a tight knit group whose résumés includeMirror’s EdgeandBionic Commando: Rearmed,Might and Delight have partnered with D3 to bringPidto XBLA. The gravity defying puzzle-platformer follows a boy stranded on a “dreamlike and dangerous world,” looking to escape from an army of robots and a malevolent ruler determined to keep him from finding his way home.
