After promising changes almost two weeks ago, Blizzard has released the patch notes for the upcomingDiablo 41.1.1. patch. As promised, the patch focuses mostly on balance adjustments. The Sorcerer and Barbarian are both receiving some pretty big changes, while other classes received a few tweaks as well.
Sorcerer in particular is getting improvements to their late-game survivability, mostly through the Paragon Board. Other changes include a shift away from granting play power at the cost of removing power elsewhere, like with most of their Legendary Aspects.
Barbarians are seeing improvements in their early game by increasing the speed and flow of combat. Fury generation on Basic Skills has been increased. Furthermore, late-game improvements increase the power of Barbarian-specific Unique items.
Finally, in terms of class balance, some weaker builds have been strengthened to reach a higher power level inDiablo 4patch 1.1.1. Some Legendary items that had limited use cases have been improved to try and be less situational and more useful.
Aside from the classes changes, this patch is also bringing some promised quality-of-life updates. Monster density in Nightmare Dungeons and Helltide Events is increased, and most Bosses and Events will now drop more loot.
