What is the release date forDRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO?
At the time of writing, publisher Bandai Namco nor developer Spike Chunsoft have provided any sort of release window forDRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO. All the previousBudokai Tenkaichigames came out either in October or November, but that doesn’t necessarily meanSparking! ZEROwill follow the same trend. Given the gameplay trailers released thus far, it doesn’t seem too unreasonable to think the game could launch before the end of 2024, though we could see it being pushed into 2025 if Bandai Namco thinks it needs further development time.
What platforms willDRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZEROrelease for?
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZEROis currently slated to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There’s been no mention ofbringing it to last-gen consoles—the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One—or the Nintendo Switch, so we can assume it’s skipping them so as to take full advantage of the more modern hardware’s specs. ConsideringSparking! ZEROpromises “exceptional visual fidelity,” the game likely wouldn’t look as good as it does if Spike Chunsoft had to get it running on last-gen platforms as well.
