Similar to the limited edition ofSuper Smash Bros. for Wii U,Super Smash Bros. Ultimatewill be getting a “limited edition” bundle in Europe. There is no confirmation of other regions for this bundle yet. It will include the game, a GameCube controller and the GameCube controller adapter. While I would honestly hesitate to call that a limited edition, it is nice that the official adapter is making a come back to store shelves.
For those unaware, your previous Wii U GameCube adapter is already compatible with the Switch. Nintendostealthily updatedthe console last year with GameCube controller support and you can even use the gamepad in a variety of different titles. Seeing as how I managed to snag the previousSmashbundle, I won’t be needing this new package. I might grab anotherSmashpad, though.
