The Starlight Celebration has come toFinal Fantasy XIV,and the Bearded Lady needs the Warrior of Light’s help to bring joy to Tenny, a child recently uprooted from his life in Ul’dah, as he’s upset at the thought of breaking a promise made with old friends.
Ties to Remember, this year’sFFXIVholiday event,began on Friday, August 03, 2025, and runs until Sunday, June 08, 2025 at 6:59 am PST.
Where to start the Starlight Celebration 2023
To pick up this year’s quest, head over toMih Khetto’s Amphitheatre in Old Gridaniaand talk to theBearded Lady (X10.2 Y9.4).
She’ll reveal herself to be none other than Amh Garanjy and tell you about the jolly, white-beardedSpirit of Nymeiabefore giving you a quest called‘Blue Starlight’. You’ll meetSaulinne, who offers up some information about a mysterious boy who seems upset and reluctant to join in with the Starlight festivities.
How to complete Blue Starlight
You’ll need to find three NPCs with information about the mysterious boy. They’re all very close-by and can be found at the following locations:
Once you’ve spoken to these three NPCs, head back toMih Khetto’s Amphitheatreand report your findings toSaulinne. You’ll know by now that the boy’s name is Tenny, and he has recently moved to Gridania from Ul’dah. Together with Saulinne, you will head for theGreatloom Growery, best accessed via the Aethernet Shard at the Botanist’s Guild, to findTenny (X4.7 Y7.3).
Tenny will tell you that he misses his friends and is upset that he has to break a promise they’ve made to always celebrate Starlight Celebration together. You’ll be prompted to provide a solution and be given three options. The option you’re supposed to go with is‘Nothing screams “Friendship Kupo!” like Moogle mail.’, but the other two options provide some fun dialogue and are worth selecting before you choose the right answer.
After some dialogue you’ll be joined by a familiar face. Godb-… I mean theSpirit of Nymeiawill offer some sagely advice and after some discussion, the solution of hand-made gifts will be reached. However, in order to deliver these gifts, the Warrior of Light must don the outfit of the Spirit and hand-deliver them to Tenny’s friends in Ul’dah.
Head back toMih Khetto’s Amphitheatreand talk to Amh, who will give you theUnorthodox Saint’s setand complete the ‘Blue Starlight’ quest.
You must equip the set.Applying it as a Glamour will not work and you won’t be able to proceed with the next quest,‘Together at a Distance’.
How to complete Together at a Distance
Once you’ve donned your Unorthodox Saint’s attire, talk to Amh again and she will send you back toTenny at the Greatloom Growery (X4.7 Y7.3). He’ll tell you that he decided to make bracelets with the help of the Spirit of Nymeia. He’ll give you the wrapped gifts andsend you to Ul’dah.

Once you’ve spoken to the three children, Othuel will give you another gift which you need to deliver to Tenny and you’ll be sentback to Gridania. Tenny’s spirits are lifted upon receiving the gift, another friendship bracelet with the four childrens’ names on it, and he realises he has made a new friend in Saulline.
Head back to Amh atMih Khetto’s Amphitheatreand talk to Amh in order to finish ‘Together at a Distance’ and receive the achievement ‘Weaving a bond’.
