Teased at Horizon, coming soon to Steam Early Acess

There weren’t a lot of megaton announcements at yesterday’s Horizon conference, an indie alternative to E3 hosted by Venus Patrol atthe LA Museum of Contemporary Art, but a couple games on display there really caught our eye.

The mostimpelling title in attendance was easilyPanoramical, a psychedelic music game fromDyadandProteuscomposer David Kanaga, Fernando Ramallo, and the folks behindCanabaltandFez. A little pedigree is bound to make our ears perk up a bit.

Another flashy title shown at MOCA yesterday wasFledge, a game its creators,Ko-op Mode, say is about “the joy of song and flight.” There’s not a lot else to go on here, though. The visuals are certainly striking and the music, courtesy of sound designerAdam Koopmans, hints at being just lovely. I suppose we’ll know more soon whenFledgehits Steam Early Access.
