It’s finally releasing next month

June 23, 2025. That’s it: the honest-to-goodness release date forSamorost 3. It’s hitting PC and Mac first, followed by Android and iOS versions “later this year.” Someone hold me!

It has been a long wait for fans of the 2003 original and its 2005 sequel, but looking at the end result now, I can’t even think of complaining. Anteater bears aren’t made in a day.

“Our goal was to create something playful yet dense, blending the challenging logic puzzles ofMachinariumwith the more relaxed gameplay and tone ofBotanicula,” says Amanita Design founder Jakub Dvorský.

Samorost 3“loosely continues” the prior stories, though all you really need to know is that a space gnome has come across a magical flute that enables him to visit alien planets and moons, and you’re gonna see some strange, imaginative stuff.
