Catching up on a month of sales

This past month has been a busy one. Not only for video games in Japan, which included theNintendo Switch surpassing one million sales within the country, but also me trying to find a job. Thus I wasn’t able to report the sales the past few weeks. As an apology and catch-up, let’s check out the highlights.

ARMSreleased to just over 100,000 sales in its first week after releasing on June 16, topping the charts almost by default with no other new releases around it. In the following weeks,Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood(PS4) and the 3DS remakeRadiant Historia: Perfect Chronologyopened with 28,731 and 24,596 sales respectively.

And finally this week saw the most successful launch sinceMario Kart 8: Deluxerocked out with over 284,000 sales on April 28 whenGundam Versusmoved 121,444 units in its initial week. Probably lower than some expected, but I’m surprised they keep making and keep sellingGundamgames. There’s so many of them it’s going to rivalMariohimself one day.
