It warmed my RPG-loving heart to seeyour lists of favorite Shin Megami Tensei games for our game giveawayfor today’s releaseDevil Summoner: Soul Hackers. One thing’s clear: Destructoid’s readers know their sh*t! So happy to have so many fellow series fans here. So many of you just wanted to talk about your favorites — again, so great to see. Hee ho!
Before we get to the awards, huge high fives to those of you that listedShin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddonas one of your top five. That game was crazy cool.
And thanks to Atlus for letting us share your super cool/super old game with some of our readers. I know that some of you expected me to review it today. For those asking,I’ll say that I think Chris nailed it on the head. The game has aged pretty well, but it’s still old. Its mechanics, while not fancy by today’s standards, still hold up, and are quite deep. Worth a spin for sure.
