Eagus Wilderness and Millick Meadows
A set of tweets from Nintendo of America has unveiled some newXenoblade Chronicles 3locations:which we’ll be exploring very soon in July!
If you like sand in your shoes, then pay a visit to#XenobladeChronicles3’s Eagus Wilderness. You may spot a familiar landmark while evading this desert’s sandstorms. Is that a…giant mechanical finger?pic.twitter.com/ZMA3dKze0z

First up is theEagus Wilderness. It’s a desert/arid-like biome with the classic touch ofXenobladecolor, with orange trees dotting the landscape. Oh, and there’s a “mechanical finger,” getting that classicXenobladefeel in with the “you’re walking on colossal titans” motif. Like many, manyXenobladelocales, it seems to have a lot of ravines and high walls, with a focus on verticality.
A river flows through the vast grasslands of#XenobladeChronicles3’s Millick Meadows. The lush nature on display here sure looks inviting, but beware – the creatures (and even plants) who live here don’t take kindly to passers-by.pic.twitter.com/QiVkjHk1RZ
The secondXenoblade Chronicles 3locations tweet isMillick Meadows, a “lush” area that really leans into the floating island concept — and reminds me of the expansion fromXenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. In all, it’s a very light tease, but it’s always a blast looking at these shots and imagining myself walking through them. You’ll be able to do that with a party swap mechanic now too!
We haven’t seen that much of the game yet (I’m sure that will change in June), but given all of the quality of life choices the team has made thus far, coupled with the strength of what the series has shown us to date: it’s definitely one of my most anticipated games of the year.
