Horizon Walker’s global launch has been a successful one, and the gacha has been released with a healthy set of characters at launch.
The characters can be sorted out into different tiers based on how effective they’re inside the game. Sticking with this tier list will help you build up a meta team quickly and invest your resources properly.

The characters currently available at launch have different roles, and I have used four separate tiers. While the tier list is constructed considering the entire power curve of the game, you should always play important roles. For example, using multiple A-tier characters for the same role will be inferior, and I would instead use a B-tier tank for better squad balance.

If you wanted to reroll for any of these characters, I will go for Nika, purely due to her endgame capabilities.
