Diamonds are one of the rarest and most resources inStardew Valley, and they can be quite hard to find. If you want to build a stockpile of Diamonds, or start using the resource, you’ve got several options.
There are a few different ways to get Diamonds inStardew Valley, but most of them are far from guaranteed. Whether you want to get a do-over with Grandpa’s Evaluation, or a gift that’s sure to score Friendship points, here’s how to get Diamonds and how to use them.

Diamonds may be hard to find, but there are plenty of opportunities that may give you some. Some of these are far more guaranteed than others, and others will only be available in the later stages of a playthrough.

How to use Diamonds in Stardew Valley
Diamonds can be sold for 750 Gold each, or 974 Gold if you have the Gemologist profession. They are the most expensive gem available, so if you have a Crystalarium, you can make an easy profit by duplicating Diamonds. Diamonds are also a loved or liked gift for every villager, so you’re guaranteed to get a positive response if you give the gem as a gift.
Grandpa’s Shrine
You can use a Diamond inGrandpa’s Shrineto have him re-evaluate you if you didn’t manage to get four candles lit on the shrine the first time around. Once you get four candles, you’ll get a Statue of Perfection.
Bundles and Quests
you may use one Diamond as part of the Treasure Hunter’s Bundle in the Boiler Room (Remixed).
In terms of quests, after you’ve reached floor 40 of the Mines, a Diamond can be requested at any time at the Help Wanted Board. The reward for completing this quest is 2,250 Gold and 150 Friendship points. One can also be requested by the Raccoon as part of the fifth request or any made after.

Tailoring
A Diamond can be used in the spool of aSewing Machineto create a dyeable Pendant Shirt. It’s also classed as a white dye when used in the spool of a Sewing Machine.
Trading
Diamonds can also be exchanged with a couple of NPCs to get some items. The Desert Trader gives you one Triple Shot Espresso in exchange for one Diamond, while the Volcano Dwarf on Ginger Island sells you the ‘The Diamond Hunter’ book for 10 Diamonds.
