If you have been trying to playWuthering Waveswith a friend, you may have encountered a ‘Co-op unavailable’ notification. While it may look like it isn’t available initially, it does work later down the line. Here’s how to unlock co-op inWuthering Waves.
Wuthering Waves co-op unlock, explained
You can unlockWuthering Waves‘ co-op feature byreaching Union Level 22. That means you can only access it once you’ve gotten through a good bunch of the story.
Although the game doesn’t outright tell you this required level, one hint can be found in Jinzhou’s Simulation Training. When selecting a training course, it states, ‘Co-op Mode not available. Unlocked after reaching Union Level 22.’
Fortunately, you can increase your Union Level quickly by completing milestones, daily quests, and Forgery Challenges. I find it best to just explore the area where you can earn XP through enemy battles and chests. For more information, check out our guide onhow to increase Union Level.
Once a Rover reaches Union Level 22, they should receive a notification regardingWuthering Waves’co-op availability. You’ll find a new feature to access Co-op Mode in your menu. Interact with other Rovers here to boost your party.
