If you’ve played through most ofFinal Fantasy XIVand you’re looking for a new challenge, you’re in luck.Endwalkerbrought two new classes into the game, one healer and one melee DPS, which quickly became beloved within the community. Here’s how to unlock them.

Before you can unlock either Sage or Reaper, you’ll need to meet a couple of requirements:

Once you’ve done this, you’re free to unlock either Job or both at your leisure. Thankfully, neither of these Jobs will require you to travel too far, as they unlock in the starting city-states.

How to unlock Sage inFinal Fantasy XIV

To pick up Sage as your next Job and add it to your repertoire, head to Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks and find the Sharlayan Maiden (X:9.4, Y:12.9). Upon speaking to her, you’ll be able to accept the unlock quest for Sage, “Sage’s Path”.

It’s a remarkably easy quest that simply involves you traveling across La Noscea to talk with Lalah Jinjahl in various locations. She’ll eventually just give you the Sage Job Crystal, but only if you swear to use your newfound skills for good.

How to unlock Reaper inFinal Fantasy XIV

To unlock Reaper and begin your scythe-wielding journey, head to Ul’dah – Steps of Nald and find the Flustered Attendant (X:12.8, Y:8.6). Pick up the Reaper to unlock the quest, “The Killer Instinct,” which will reward your new gear and Soul Crystal upon completion.

You’ll need to form a connection with your voidsent in order to complete this quest, but that’s pretty easy, truth be told. There’s nothing too worrying about this quest, so you’ll soon be swinging your Scythe around your favorite duties.
