Lone Survivormay be set to get some competition soon in the form of Ben Rivers’Home— a similarly retro-looking horror game. Boasting a plot that the player directly controls and a dark murder mystery to solve, Home is looking incredibly promising, and definitely has my attention.

The game isup for pre-order right now, and comes in two flavors. The first is a standard edition, which will cost a measly $2.00 in exchange for the digital download. For those that miss physical packages, however, there is a fully packages version for $20.00.

The Old School Collector’s Edition not only comes in a physical box, it boasts a traditional game manual, a map of Home’s town and game-universe artifacts including an adorably rustic floppy disk. Each copy is hand-packed and autographed for your pleasure. The game will be available June 1.

Looks like I’ve got my next indie horror game to look forward to. What a time to be alive!
