Let the NSA build 3D models of you!

Intel is pushing a 3D camera as part of its focus on “perceptual computing,” technology like voice recognition, facial recognition, and gesture control,CNET reports. Partnerships with manufacturers like Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, HP, Lenovo, and NEC will see Intel’s RealSense 3D camera built into various notebooks coming out this year.

The camera boasts Kinect-like capabilities. It can act as a green screen, separating subjects from their background and make you look like you’re surfing at a beach during your business meeting, which will definitely impress your boss. “Tubular!” he will shout. “You deserve a raise for such sick board moves.”
