Asreported by the movie mogulsover at Variety, production company Constantin Films has secured the rights to produce a movie based on the high-explosive escapades of Square Enix’Just Causefranchise.
Expected to commence shooting next year, theJust Causefilm will be written by Derek Kolstad, who is responsible for the ballisticJohn Wickfranchise, and produced by Robert Kulzer, who has overseen theResident EvilCinematic Universe. No doubt this pairing can bring the over-the-top mayhem and ridiculous action set-pieces of theJust Causegames to the big screen.
For those of you more interested in Rico’s digital exploits,Just Cause 4recently revealed itsLos Demonios DLC, bringing a weird neon aesthetic and gooey sci-fi horror tropes to the open-world shooter. That in itself sounds like it’d make for a fun flick, to be honest.
TheJust Causemovie enters production in 2020 for an undisclosed future release.
