Jim Sterling and Dale North checked outLightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIIIwhile at PAX. Well, Dale did, Jim slept in. But it’s okay, he didn’t really miss much as Dale described. The only good thing we can expect out of the newFinal Fantasyis that the battle system is much improved.
As for the story, it’s just as convoluted as ever. Plus, Lightning herself still has no personality. If anything, she does a stupid pose at the end of every battle.
