While hosting a live stream today, Bandai Namco aired a new teaser trailer for the upcomingLittle Witch Academia: Chamber of Time. In addition, they showed off not only more footage of the game, but also revealed new playable witches Amanda O’Neill, Contanze Albrechtsberger, and Jasminka Antonenko.

During the stream, staff confirmed that players will be able to explore “almost all” of Luna Nova Magical Academy, the setting for the show, and that over 40 characters from the anime will appear throughout the game. The box art was also revealed, and will feature Akko, Lotte and Sucy. It was illustrated by Shuhei Handa, painted by Yukiko Kakita, and the background was done by Bihou.
I would recommend giving the livestream itself a watch. The footage for the dungeons kind of reminds me ofDragon’s Crownfor some reason, but I can’t put my finger on why. From 2:48:37 to 3:01:09 they show off the dungeon gameplay, the actions for the six playable witches, as well as gameplay from exploring the school. However, there’s no footage for the playable Sorcery Soldier Grand Charion, which is a bonus for pre-orders in Japan.
In addition, Bandai Namco has announced that they will hold a new stream every month until the game is released in Japan. Currently, the next broadcast is set for August 20.
Little With Academia: Chamber of Timeis set to come out in Japan on November 30 for PlayStation 4. It will be releasing in North America and Europe in early 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
