About a week afterBest Buyopened pre-orders,Amazonhas followed suit and put the Lucas amiibo up for sale. There’s no telling how long he’ll be available, but he’s been up for quite a while today already.
Convenience is really the only thing at stake here, as Best Buy is currently only doing in-store pick-ups; it’s likely that on the day of release, Best Buy will open online orders to be shipped.
Lucas officially releases on January 22, which isn’t too far off in the distance. Interestingly, Lucas is the lastSmash Bros. amiibo to launch until Roy, Ryu, and Famicom R.O.B. on March 18. Nice little lull there.
