Burn it all down, we’re done here
Mortal Kombat Xhas simply gone too far this time. Look, we’ve put up with Scorpions and Reptiles for decadesbecause they aren’t actual scorpions and reptiles. They’re just bipedal dudes fixin’ to rip someone’s spine out of their mouth. That’s cool or whatever.
You know what’s not cool?Actual fucking spiders. But, according to this picture from one ofMortal Kombat X‘s Achievements, there’s at least a single giant spider in the game, and that is over the line. Well, I think it’s a giant spider. It could be a normal-sized spider if your character has a really tiny head.
The other Achievements are mostly stuff you’d expect from aMortal Kombatgame: win a bunch of matches, perform some fatalities, bleed a lot, and so on. But, if you want full Gamerscore, you have to encounter a huge arachnid. I’ve been known to have anunhealthy relationship with Achievements, but even I know where to draw the line (the line is right on the other side of the city limits of Spiderville).
