It’s almost that time of the year again: the run-up to the Video Game Awards and the inevitable announcements of new games asCall of Dutysteals some Best Character award from a game that actually has characters. First of all a newAlan Waketitle (i.e.,not a direct sequeland likely therumoreddownloadableNight Springstitle [Jim Reillyhas just confirmed it is an XLBA title]) will debut at this year’s award show.

A new franchise from a new BioWare studio is also set to be announced. While meeting the BioWare doctors at Eurogamer Expo this year, they were on their way to Ireland to see the “new” office. BioWare already has a customer support office atGalwayin Ireland (BioWare Ireland) so this new IP might be from yet another studio, or perhaps it is being developed by secret hidden ninjas at Galway after all.
