Borderlands 2 being the clear winner I’m a little shocked at the game selection for Games with Gold next month. Usually Microsoft kills it in terms of big-name titles or critically acclaimed indie hits. This month, though, we’re getting a bunch of nonsense on the Xbox One and an inferior version of a fan favorite shooter. I can’t say much aboutHeavy Weapon, but I know PopCap Games made it, so it probably isn’t too bad....

Best of 2013 There weren’t a whole lot of fighting games this year, but the ones that did make the cut were mostly beloved by the community. We finally have a winner, but let’s take a look at all of the hopefuls first. And the winner is … Divekick Congratulations to Adam Heart and Iron Galaxy Studios for making such a big splash in the fighting game community. It’s incredibly tough to really break into the genre, and given the fact that this is an indie, it makes it even tougher....

The cause seems unclear, though it appears it may be linked with what class you’re playing as, as – to date – Knightsseemable to proceed without incident....

But it may come back someday Months ago, I played a multiplayer mode inBlack Ops IIcalled Hacker, which required teams to take control of several A.G.R Drones on the map in order to rack up the kills. The only weapons available were pistols with very limited ammo and EMP grenades. Players needed to use their EMP grenades to stop the A.G.R Drones long enough so they could be hacked and controlled, and the more under your ownership, the better....

PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One We knew thatTrailblazerswas coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch later this spring, but some extra footage to help paint a picture of what the game is all about doesn’t hurt. The gist is that the entire game is framed around 3v3 racing in a co-op style, where players are trying to paint the track. As you “boost your color” the racing line is altered, and skill points earned while racing also play a factor....

And it’s free? Well here’s a surprise. While the big news of the day isDragon Quest XIiscoming to the PlayStation 4, it would appear that another game in the franchise will also be making its debut on the system at some point. Sony’s inaugural console had a pretty deep library, so it’s no wonder the list of standout titles is so long. It’s also a well-loved console, so the PS1 is well-trodden territory now. What would go on a “best of” list is generally well-solidified for most people. So, this isn’t a ranked list, and it isn’t a list of the best, but rather games you might have overlooked. I don’t particularly like ranked list, since I don’t think they’re that useful....
