‘Batmobile trailer,’ I should say The first Ace Chemicals Infiltration video forBatman: Arkham Knightrekindled my excitementand, looking over your comments, I was far from alone in that regard. But this? Come on now. It’s almost entirely scripted footage of the Batmobile blasting away at “heavily armoreddronetanks” (I take back my laughter re: Batman seemingly throwing out his no-kill rule). My favorite part is the opening shot of him staring at the camera — those graphics!...

It’s only on PS3, though TheArkhamseries is no stranger to offering extra costumes, but this Knightfall skin — which is exclusive to the PlayStation 3 version ofBatman: Arkham Origins— is so damn cool. There’s also the Classic TV Series character skin, which looks especially silly and out of place in the dark, serious world ofArkham Origins, and five bonus maps: two Combat, two Predator. I wouldn’t worry so much about the extra challenge maps, as there’s never really been a shortage of them in these games, but they are a nice bonus....

Uncharted 4 development ‘will not be impacted’ Amy Hennig, writer and director on theUnchartedseries, has left Naughty Dog, Sony has confirmed toIGN. In her 10 years at Naughty Dog, Hennig was most known for writing and directing the threeUnchartedPS3 games. Alex’s Weird Mysteries Weirdness is a taut rope to walk — too little and it distracts, too much and it’s overpowering. It has to be just the right amount, mixed with enough sincerity to keep the whole affair from feeling twee or, even worse, smug. From what I played,YIIK’s sincerity doesn’t lie in any sort of emotional resonance (see also:Deadly Premonition‘s surprisingly affecting climax). I guess VR Black Flag could be neat As Sony moved onto the VR portion of their stream, we got a look at a couple of new first-person styled VR games. One,Bow to Blood, is a game that looks really similar to the ship combat fromAssassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. It also has a really great looking art style, but it seems so slow paced. As detailed by the hosts,Bow to Bloodwill feature procedural generation for its game world and will center on a fantasy TV reality show setting....

There’s also a demo and sale for the first game Fuga: Melodies of Steelis getting a follow-up. Developer CyberConnect2 confirms that it plans to releaseFuga: Melodies of Steel 2. Melodies of Steel 2will be a direct sequel to the first game. Not much else is known at the moment, but more news is planned for July 28.
