MFi controllers really have the ability to be a game changer for iOS devices. But they’re in their infancy, and not only are aselect amount of games supported, but they also have some limitations. So far, I’ve reviewed theLogitech PowershellandMOGA Ace Power— two controllers that are wired, and only work for specific iPhone flavored devices. Out of nowhere comes a new challenger — the SteelSeries Stratus line for iOS, which allows for the same four trigger, dual analog control system of the Ace Power, but this time, with wireless support....

Game still in development Recently, developer WayForward held a small community poll for the rival design inShantae: Half-Genie Hero. They settled in on three finalists, and as of last night, the final one was chosen, which you may view in the gallery below. I had my money on the first choice! In other Shantae news the game is still in development after closing out its Kickstarter in October of 2013, and WayForward is currently seeking out retail partners....

I wish they would have made the Genesis a Constructicon Toymaker Takara Tomy has produced Transformers based on the rivalry between the Genesis and the PlayStation during the early part of the fifth generation of consoles. The PlayStation is represented by Optimus Prime, while the Genesis transforms into Megatron. Both figures were on display earlier this month at the Summer Hobby Maker Joint Products Exhibition in Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan. I personally think they missed out by not making 32x and Sega CD Transformers as well in a unique spin on Devastator....

The newCall Of Duty:Modern Warfare 3is now on Steam and Battle.net. Fans have complained aboutits seemingly rushedcampaign, but others made their peace and must choose which platform to use for the game’s multiplayer andzombies mode. Heads up for Hilde Bandai Namco has announced that season two of noble fighterSoulcalibur VIwill begin next week, November 25, on all platforms. The first new roster addition for season two, Hildegard Von Krone (or just “Hilde” to her buddies) will be made available to purchase the following day on November 26. End of line for Onoma Square Enix Montreal, which recently changed its name to Onoma,has announcedthat it is to shut down service for four of its mobile titles. The quartet of games will officially end service on July 20, 2025, ahead of the studio’s announced closure. Hitman Sniper: The Shadows; Deus EX GO;Arena Battle Champions;andSpace Invaders: Hidden Heroeswill be removed from the iOS App Store and the Android Store on December 1....

Today, Microsoft brought three of legendary Japanese videogame creators — Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear), Keiji Inafune (Mega Man), and Toshihiro Naghoshi (Super Monkey Ball,Yazuka) — into one room. The reason? To have an open discussion about Project Natal. While the moderator, Xbox Japan’s general manager Takashi Sensui, tried to steer the conversation towards gaming, Kojima was thinking outside the box.
