They made an Urchin figure, too
You may have never heard ofUrchin, but Rare had big things planned for it before the concept was canceled. Speaking on Twitter, Rare guru Christopher Seavor noted that they had made a toy for the game.
Elaborating further when asked about whether or not it would have worked with the Xbox Live Vision camera, Seavor noted that they wanted to do “amiibo style things” with figures all the way back in the N64 era. It apparently never worked out.
There are a lot of “what ifs” in the video game realm, but if there was one company that I would put money on to make this concept a reality back then, it was Rare.
