The important thing to keep in mind doing this rule is that you must multiply to equal 35. No addition, subtraction, or division; only multiplication.
Solving Rule 9 forThe Password Gameis pretty easy once we figure out all the factors of 35: 1, 5, 7, and 35.
By this logic, we have two possible equations that can multiply to equal 35.
These are the only two ways to use multiplication to reach 35. Therefore,the Roman Numerals that multiply to 35 are XXXV and IORVII and V.
You need to make sure the two sets of Roman Numerals are separated from each other and capitalized. For example, “xxxv” does not register as a Roman Numeral. Furthermore, XXXVI would register as the Roman Numeral for 36, not 35 and one.
