EB Games Australia recently listedKingdom Hearts IIIon its web-store for $119.99 (placeholder price), before taking it down immediately after. Unfortunately, when you put something out on the internet, it can not be undone. Also listed, but not taken down, wereThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the WildandJust Dance 2017, also at the $119.99 placeholder price.
Additional signs that the rumor may be true are that Square will work as a third-party publisher for Nintendo withDragon Quest XIand aDragon Quest Xport are already confirmed, as well as a lack of both NX andKingdom Hearts IIIinformation lately (in particular at E3 2016).
It would not be the first time aKingdom Heartsgame has appeared on a Nintendo console.Chain of Memoriesfor Game Boy Advance,358/2 Daysfor Nintendo DS, andDream Drop Distancefor the Nintendo 3DS are precedent for a series that has appeared on numerous platforms. It would be a first for a numbered entry to appear on a major Nintendo console.
