It’s an absolutely horrific thing to watch. A young man with a broken jaw, being robbed by a bunch of hooded chavs who surrounded him like sharks. Theviolence that’s rocked my home countrythis past week has made me feel pretty miserable and more than a little ashamed.
Sony Computer Entertain Europe, however, has demonstrated some serious class, responding to the above footage by offering to replace the PSP that was stolen. Asite was set upto “do something nice” for the victim in the video, twenty-year-old Haziq. SCEE’s Alistair Duncan posted on the site, promising to send out the PSP if they can get shipping details.
It’s a heartwarming little story amidst a deluge of really horrible ones. Very nicely done, Sony.
