And not a Benedorm Cumberdingle in sight
If you’ve not played Frogwares’ fantasticSherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, you are seriously missing out. The game combined the visuals of BBC’sSherlockwith the Victorian setting of the source material, with fantastically designed environments and a really cool deduction mechanic.
The entire game was really great and easily the bestSherlock Holmesgame to have ever been made. That’s why you should be excited for Frogwares’ recent announcement it is now working on the newest game in the series:Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter.
Being published by Bigben Interactive (as opposed to Focus Home Interactive last time),The Devil’s Daughteris aiming to take the series in a slightly different direction. With a focus on drama and action, it claims that Holmes’ “ruthless logic is overwhelmed by family stories, irresistible emotions, and an occult revenge.”
By the sounds of it, the game’s five cases will take place in an open world, as opposed to the set areas seen in the previous game. you’re able to take a look at some ridiculously pretty screenshots in the gallery below.
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughterwill release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One in spring 2016. That gives you enough time to go get caught up withCrimes and Punishments, so go do that. I’m pretty excited forDevil’s Daughter.
