But Wii U makes it in
EVO Japan’s lineup was revealed this week, and it has a lot of the usual suspects.Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd, King of Fighters XIV, BlazeBlue: Central Fiction, Street Fighter V, SmashWii U, andArmsall made it in. Wait, noMelee? Yep, a collective gasp overcame the internet when the list came out andMeleewas missing.
You know what? That’s okay with me. Practically every tournament on the planet has been featuringMeleefor over 15 years, and I can easily just catch a new stream at any given time. I love thatSmashWii U gets the chance to shine here.
The first EVO Japan will take place from January 26-28. I’ll be there in spirit to watch Geese Howard kick some ass inTekken 7andKing of Fighters(if he’s regulation in the former after he arrives “this winter”).
