I hadn’t heard that Pixelsaurus Games was working on an “officially-licensed remix” until now, so I’m rushing to catch up withany and all details available, including this recent trailer.
The visual upgrade alone has me giddy.Captain Forever Remixis going for that ’90s “amazing and weird cartoons” look, a style I’d love more videogames to embrace. That’s my childhood, man.
Expect the game to go on sale next month throughSteam Early Access. As a roguelike, it should fare better in an unfinished state than, say, completely story-driven games. But we’ll have to see.
