TheSquare Enix Members websitein North America and Japan has been hacked. The company has released a statement that says that while some personal information may have got out, members’ credit card numbers are safe as they are not stored on the affected server. Right now the site and service are temporarily suspended for investigation.
Square Enix estimates that the downtime will last for a few days.

While some personal information may have been accessed, we can confirm that there is no possibility of any credit card information leak from this incident, since the server in question stores no credit card information.
