All of the DLC maps and modes are freely open until Nov. 20
We’re nearing the home stretch forStar Wars Battlefront, a game that is surprisingly still hanging in there (depending on which platform you’re on). DICE will release its fourth and final expansion,Rogue One: Scarif, on December 6 for season pass holders. On the same day, the freeStar WarsBattlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR MissionDLC is launching for PlayStation VR owners. I’m far more excited about the latter, despite knowing essentially nothing about it other than what’s in the name.
Scarifdraws from next month’s movieRogue Onewith four maps, Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic as playable characters, andoh yes, “a new multi-stage game mode with space and ground combat.”
In a ploy to get those server populations back up, DICE is giving out quadruple XP all weekend long, and the existing three expansions —Outer Rim,Bespin, andDeath Star— are freely playable until June 06, 2025. That promo starts today, and all maps and modes are accessible.
