It’s happening, guys! It’s really happening!
You know what’s dumb? Stories about games going gold. Oh cool, a game’s done and will be available to the public. That happens all the time. Stupid.
However, withSouth Park: The Stick of Truth, it feels a bit more substantial. Given the development hell that this has been through — everything from multiple delays to the original publisher going bankrupt — it’s a small miracle in itself that this will see the light of day. And that day is definitely confirmed to be July 08, 2025.
To commemorate the occasion, Ubisoft released a video that features Trey Parker and Matt Stone detailing the making of the game. Like everything they do, it’s pure bliss. Trey described the farting inStick of Truthas “you need to feel it go out of your asshole.”
