Sony’s game-streaming servicePlayStation Nowis available on PC as of today. With a membership, you’ll be able to play 400-plus titles from the PlayStation 3 library right on your Windows PC.
Sony offers a seven-day trial for PlayStation Now, so even if you wouldn’t normally care to stream games, it might be worth trying just to see what it’s like on your connection (5 Mbps is the minimum). Longer-term, subscriptions are $19.99 per month, $44.99 for three months, or $99.99 for a full year.
There’s a big ol’ list of supported PlayStation 3 gamesright here, including several recent additions:Mafia II,Tomb Raider: Game of the Year Edition,Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch,Civilization Revolution,Heavy Rain, andBorderlands: Ultimate Edition. And next month, Now is gettingCastlevania: Harmony of Despair. Gosh, what an unusual (but not necessarily horrible) game that was.
