Pikmin 4continues to be updated with some minor bug fixes (it doesn’t really need much more than that), and the latest patch adds in some of those said fixes; plus a nice little quality-of-life feature in the form of a loading bar.
Yes, a loading bar. Nintendo has now added a “progress bar” to the loading screen, so folks can see just how long it’s taking to transition between stages and the hub. Nintendo reminds folks that transferring the game to the Switch’s internal storage can “shorten” load times.
As for those aforementioned fixes, well, they’re welcome, to say the least! Although I didn’t encounter any of them during my full playthrough, treasures disappearing under specific circumstances is never good.
Interestingly enough, this patch also applies to the demo ofPikmin 4, which is still live.
